We have an overwhelming number trees in our work parking lot that have turned deep red.
Just lovely.
It’s been a month since I’ve posted a picture. And a crazy month it’s been. We’ve decided to sell our current house and buy another one one town. That has meant a lot of non stop cleaning and, quite frankly, if I never see another paintbrush again it will be too soon.
In the meantime, we did get the chance to get out and snag a few pumpkins this weekend.
Fall is definitely here. I love it.
Ever wonder what the inside of a fire hydrant looks like? Hard to see, but there isn’t a spout of gushing water, just a hole and a valve. This one was knocked over today by a driver who lost control of her car. She must have been going a good clip, because after this, she knocked over a wooden fence, crashed through twenty feet of trees and brush, came out the other side, then managed to miss my inlaws house and wreck only their wooden fence (the second one of her trip). She was unhurt (read: lucky). The hydrant was lucky as well, since it sits right outside the town firehouse, and will probably be back up and functional tomorrow.
